Fondest memories of high school years
My fondest memories are of all the events held on the fields and especially the gym – basketball games, dances, proms. It seemed like it was always packed! I also remember the fun we had getting together and preparing for our big events, decorating the halls and gym for Sophomore Ball, and Junior Prom. And of course I have to call out my prom queen, Darlene (Denton) Cardinal!
I have never forgotten Sunday night films with the football team, and the rattling of the metal film canisters being slammed on a desk by Coach Bolin, unhappy with the play we just watched. Often shouting, “Rickeee!!!” 😊
On the disappointing side - our class had a different schedule for each year (9th: full day, 10th: ½ day afternoon, 11th: ½ day morning, 12th: extended day/open campus).
